Costs & Financial Information

The Executive Physical goes above and beyond the routine physical performed at many doctors' offices. Much more thorough laboratory testing is performed and more comprehensive analysis is conducted on the blood of the patients. Currently, many insurance companies only cover the cost of treatment of diseases that already exist, and many times, insurance companies do not consider advanced, sophisticated disease-screening technology to be "cost-effective". Therefore, insurance often does not cover the cost of many useful and important tests and screening methods used at Executive-Physicals.

Executive-Physicals does not participate with any insurance plans, so all patients must pay in full for all fees incurred, at the time of their appointments, in the form of credit card or cash. Patients are then provided with a detailed, itemized receipt and attending physician statement specifying the exact tests and evaluations performed, and their respective fees. Patients can submit these receipts to their insurance plans, but reimbursement is based on the details of the individual patient's insurance policy. Whether the patient is being seen for because they are considering hearing aids or because they are concerned about other medical or genetic issues, we are happy to happy to help and share our expertise.

The testing and evaluations at the Executive-Physicals are quite extensive. The very thorough initial examination and testing can often cost one thousand dollars or more. The financial committment is substantial. The medical benefits, however, may be priceless. Patients are then provided with a detailed, itemized receipt and attending phyisician statement specifying the exact laboratory tests performed and their respective fees. Routine diagnostic screening tests (mammograms, EKG'S, colonoscopy, etc.) may sometimes be billed directly to the insurance company. Technologically progressive diagnostic radiology studies may or may not be covered by health insurance plans.

At the time of the initial evaluation in our Medical Center, all patients are given questionaires and asked to provide details of their medical history. They are then examined by a physician, who also evaluates the each patient's past medical history. Blood and urine samples are then collected, and thoroughly analyzed. Through the laboratory analysis, the general health of the patient is assessed, and general nutritional factors such as cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose, and calcium are measured. Sophisticated hormone analyses are performed to measure each patient's levels of Thyroid hormone, Testosterone, PSA (in men) and Estrogen (in women). Additional evaluations are performed through referrals to specialists for examinations such as ECG stress tolerance tests, Prostate, Testicular, and Pelvic Sonograms, Mammograms, Colonoscopies, and others, depending on the specific needs of the individual patient. Patients are then scheduled for a followup visit with the doctor who then reviews the results of the testing and makes recommendations regarding treatment options.
